I can't find the right word...

...I think I'm going for "cute". The sound quality was pretty high and fit right in, the graphics were fluid, simple yet effective. There was no story, but that's what one can expect with a movie called "RANDOM 1/2". I liked it, it reminded me of Mas que Psychic Man (which I liked even better).

Trailer > Movie

Well, this probably is the first movie with a trailer longer than the actual movie. Which altogether is very short anyway. The graphics are pretty good, the soundtrack is okay (although I couldn't hear 'bitch' clearly), the story is stupid but somehow made me laugh anyway.

GameCubeClock responds:

thanks for the review. well it was actually a music video, and the second part was going to me like.. an easter egg, but then people would miss the egg and blam it :(

Uh-oh, it's the sizewhiner!

The "story" behind this was quite good, the graphical artwork was okay, the music itself was good although the sound quality was crap. But why oh why was this a 2.6 MB movie?

Juushiro responds:

Well, the reason its was 2.6 mb was the music if ou read what I put, this is only my third flash and I haven't really learned how to compress music, sorry about that.

Kinda funny...

I didn't exactly cheered in laughter after seeing this, it was good for a quick smile. Even though graphics, animations and sounds were total crap. Take your time, try this again and make it GOOD and you'll be getting higher scores.

XP

You had quite a thing going, which I liked. The ending (zooming NG window) was long and uninteresting, the dialogue was quite cool. Nevertheless it felt like a "quickie" (in the making, that is). The songtrack was cool and could work as an intro to this movie. I hope you're gonna make this longer, or even a series! The story has potential, the artwork isn't great, the music fits right in, animation was poor, but with this movie, it's the story that counts.

A definate TOTW nominee

Whoa, how did this get through the portal? The story was okay but too short, the sounds didn't make a lot of sense. Graphics were poor, you might want to take more than 5 seconds to slap a spitting guy together next time. I'm giving you credit for the filesize though. Well, that about covers everything I've seen in this movie. In one word: effortless.

i don't know either

An anti-clock submitting clock movies. Yeah right. That's like Bush sending christmas cards to Iraq. Anyway, the artwork wasn't too bad, the voices were familiar, and the story sucked. This movie made no sense, and it probably wasn't supposed to. too bad that it wasn't enjoyable in any way. I'm giving you 0 on interactivity because your play button was lazy.

Great story!

This movie is great! Apart from the sublime story, I like your graphical style, it's really a style of your own which makes it special. The voices were pretty good and very understandable. It was good, clean fun watching this. And I'm willing to fund this movie so it can be produced after all ;-) Well done!

MetalMaverick responds:

You don't need to worry about funding it, I just found a quarter in the couch. I should be fine. Thanks for the review though.

could've been better

As much as I like Zelda games and spoofs, this one falls into the 'not so good' category. First of all, the 'loading' sprites are not too clear. The sprites in the movie looked better. Sounds were ripped okay. The big fight with the GUARDS (not gaurds) was lazy, I'd like to see a huge fight on your new version. The in-between text frames looked awful (twisted Times and tweens all over the place). The story was a bit on the easy side (Link goes on a killing spree, Ganon kills Link, end). Altogether, with a bit more effort, this could've been a lot better. Try to compare your own movie to someone else's on NG, especially the ones on the Zelda spoof page. Learn, improve, impress!

what a waste

you had quite a thing coming until you got to the ending. knowing that your ending sucks does not allow you to have a sucky ending. graphics were cool, voices sounded quite a lot the same for every character in the movie. not much was happening altogether. In short, I didn't like it, hated the ending, and won't come back to view this movie again.
