artsy

Like I said: artsy. Quite strange though, it somehow reminded me of Monty Python. I'm not sure whether to like this movie or not. Graphics are original, music was hardly noticed. The story was quite entertaining, yet it has a weird feel. The black/white thing is what made this movie art-nouveau-ish. Well, it was okay, nothing more. I guess I'm just not into this type of movies.

to each his own i guess. thanks for not just say "it sucked" and giving it a 0 though, yah the sound was pretty quiet i wanted to keep the file size low, maybe i should warn people to raise the volume up.

Har Har for sure

This was a pretty short movie, nevertheless it made me laugh. Especially when one would suspect the monster to drag daddy down under the bed with him, he smashes him against the screen. Make more of these, maybe even bundle them in one flash file because there are quite some people that don't like short movies. I do though, please keep these up and I'll be watching :)

funny

i don't know who this gumby person is supposed to be, i guess it's a kid's cartoon or something. anyway, i liked the song and graphics, especially the tied up wolf (wolf? dog? who cares, it looked nice). the movie itself doesn't tell much of a story though. i mean, this movie works perfect as an intro to an actual gumby episode, but as a stand-alone movie it's a bit too minimal on the story. well, keep making these and make them longer and you'll keep my interest!

LOL!

What did you do, feed 'shrooms to your Atari 2600 system? This is one of the few original movies around on Newgrounds, I like it! Reminds me of Captain Low-Rez somehow... But, likewise anywhere, there is room for improvement. I think this movie will improve if the soundtrack is played at a lower volume (being background music) and some sound effects will be in place, I think. Maybe even 4 bit Atari explosion sounds ;-P Parhaps you could also work out a better story line next time. Although this story isn't too bad, it's just short. Nevertheless it's a pretty good piece of Flash, its Portal award worthy.

childhood memories

We used to have a show on TV called "Tik Tak" where all sorts of crazy shit like that would happen. I like it! It's pretty original, I like new, fresh and original things. It's kinda hard to tell you something about improvements, since it has no plot whatsoever (I know, this movie is not meant to have a plot, which is not a bad thing). Like my fellow reviewer said, I found this to be cute. Oh, maybe there is one point to prove upon: length. The movie is very short. Maybe you could try to play with colors a bit more, to keep things interesting (makes it easier for you to expand on the movie as well). Good luck with your square follow-ups!

What's your aim, fruit salad?

You've got quite a series going on here... That telephone almost had me hit the ceiling. Okay, enough BS, let's talk about the movie. The voices were, well, very clock. There were no other significant sounds other than a telephone and a NOOO scream. It could've used some music or such. The graphics looked quite nice, although clock. The story was okay, nothing more nor less. The "tilting arrow" made me decrease 1 on your overall score, I can't stand that lazy shit no more. Whether it's clock or not. The "know your clock" scene was quite funny, but the movie altogether flows very slowly, and not much is happening in total. You are a fine flash artist, but please, get over it, stop the clock-bashing and start making some good movies, because it's somewhere inside of you.

Pretty original

1.2MB was quite a heavy download for a connection like mine, so I was hoping it would be worth it. I liked the fact that you used Hampton's Mario remix for this movie, you don't see that quite often. In fact I liked all soundtracks, which were of high quality (which explains the file size?). There were quite some cameo's in this movie, which I liked as well. The outcome was quite surprising, just like the rest of the movie. But, like always, it's not all fame and glory. The text balloons were "quick" and seemed rushed. They could've matched the original Mario World theme a bit more. Also, sometimes the action halts a bit too much, it went by a tad bit to slow. Nevertheless I don't regret waiting for this movie to download, because I enjoyed it fairly much. Only one more thing... what the hell does Feito por: «¶»|Ñ@ÑÐØ|=[Ï¥§]«©» mean?

how to sync

First of all, I like this movie. The graphics are pretty good. Maybe a tad bit short, and not much of a movie altogether, but still it was okay to look at. Also I couldn't understand the song completely, so I'm afraid I missed out on a joke or two. Never mind about that. I won't say that the cows' lips are out of sync, as you might have noticed yourself by now. Instead, I'll teach you how to sync: import the sound clip and use "Stream" instead of "Event". This way, you can "scrub" the sound (scroll through the timeline and listen to the music). Good luck with your next projects!

thanks for the help dude

Great story line?

Let me tell you one thing, this was NOT a great story line. In fact it's an overused storyline. Also the clicking was kinda annoying: try to "decrease interactivity" in this movie. The sprites looked okay (you were right on that one) and the sounds were good, although there were little. I really liked the "wish I had a car" joke, but a cheating peach is outdated. Next time, be original and scores will be higher!

Did you hurry this?

You had a great thing coming with this movie up to the point where the coaster left the rail and started floating through all sorts of colored rings. I'm pretty amazed with how you did this movie though. Next time you could consider making a roller coaster movie with just the rail, maybe some loops or jumps. I liked the beginning of the movie, but the end was, well, weird. I did like the music, kinda, it's not my genre but it's done solidly. Maybe the sound quality could be a tad bit better, but then again, 266k is a nice filesize for a flash like this. In short, this is a nice 3D flash, with room for improvement and extention.
